Our efforts to redesign and transform the outside space to our house in Cobh began in late 2019. It was a significant undertaking for our family so we completed an initial design consultation with Dominick in the Autumn of 2019 prior to proceeding. It didn't take Dominick long to visualise a number of compelling design options for us to consider and we quickly agreed on the design, budget and on-going oversight arrangements to a 6 month project. At this point, the construction work to the front and back of the house began in earnest in November 2019. The elevation of the site presented its own unique set of challenges and the odd 'curve ball' but every challenge was met and worked through.
Working with Dominick and his team was a truly enjoyable and collaborative experience. We met regularly to discuss progress and while we kept to 85% of the original garden design, we allowed a little flexibility as the garden evolved to make some design (and budget) changes which we both believed woud enhance the final outcome. As we are now at the finish line, Dominick and his team have overseen at least from our own personal familt perspective a wonderful garden which our family will enjoy for years to come. To Dominick and his team (Gerard, Shane, Dean), thank you ofr your endless enthusiasm, expertise, friendship and professionalism.

LauraLynn Butterfly Garden, Sheep's Head, West Cork
We had the absolute pleasure and honour on the 26th August 2017, of visiting and opening the beautiful Butterfly Garden for Laura & Lynn at Eileen’s pub in Kilcrohane.
Dominick, together with friends and acquaintances, built the garden from scratch and it is very special to us that it was created in memory of our beautiful girls, Laura & Lynn, whom we miss each and every day. We were particularly touched by the very special wall plaque at the entrance to the garden, which was a complete and lovely surprise.
Laura & Lynn Butterfly Garden was also created in order to raise funds for LauraLynn House, Ireland’s first Children’s Hospice. On the opening night, there were some fabulous music acts, which we thoroughly enjoyed and thanks so much to all of them for the great entertainment, which helped raise substantial funds over that weekend.
Dominick has shown great kindness to Brendan and me in implementing a vision he had to give joy to us with the Memory Garden, but more importantly, in the need to raise funds to support the annual running of LauraLynn House, so dear to our own hearts.
We pass on our eternal and heartfelt thanks to Dominick and all involved in the creation and build of the garden, and to Eileen and staff for their wonderful kindness in hosting this special place and for their hospitality on the opening night also. Huge thanks also to all who visited the garden over that August weekend, for their generosity and kindness.

“In just six short weeks, Dominick and his team transformed my plain, uninspiring garden into an oasis of calm and colour with a contemporary Italian twist. Right from our first meeting, all my concerns and items on my ‘wish list’ were taken on board, and within just a few days Dominick presented a concept and design for the new garden, which was way beyond my expectations.
The design wowed me - a unique combination of natural materials, curves, and water effects seamlessly twinned with contemporary aspects such as stainless steel water features, and streamlined glass and steel elements to the first level decking area. Dominick created areas suitable for sitting out at all times of the day with seating areas designed to catch the morning, afternoon and evening sun, and which were also suitable for entertaining. All elements of the soft and hard landscaping (including stone masonry, deck construction, plumbing and wiring) were undertaken by Dominick’s team who were an absolute pleasure to have on site, particularly his friendly gardening team who were the hardest working people I have ever come across. The team were always punctual and worked solidly come rain or shine and I was most impressed with their professionalism and tidiness. My neighbours continually commented on the quality of the work and professionalism of the entire team.
Dominick created a garden alive with wonderful planting schemes and inventive finishing touches; he paid attention to every small detail, which resulted in a truly beautiful and unique garden. He has delivered on all his promises, and I have received countless compliments on the garden, which has become my own little piece of heaven. Dominick’s design and he and his team’s workmanship and professionalism have met and exceeded my expectations, and I am delighted with the outcome.
I would recommend Dominick and his team without reservation for design excellence, creativity and sheer professionalism. We watched Dominick and his team create our dream garden. We wanted a contemporary theme with a water feature and evergreen planting, a garden that we could enjoy day and night. A place where we could relax and unwind after a day at work, a place where we could entertain family and friends. We really appreciate all the time, hard work and thought that went into creating our special space.
