Large sloped contemporary garden
A steep slope but with a completely different brief to Sundays Well Garden 1. The garden had to be completely cleared, the boundary walls re-built and a retaining wall across the centre to hold back a steep bank.
We installed a natural water feature fed by two streams, the water then cascades down into a large pool which is surrounded by two Indian sandstone patios upper and lower. These patios are surrounded by low Castlewrixon red stone walls.
The planting scheme is very colourful, using shrubs, herbaceous and a stunning wisteria which rambles up a 15th high block wall. This is a perfect garden for entertaining.
